-Training-
I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating mental health and addiction challenges, and I bring both professional and personal experience to this work. My journey in this field hasn’t just been shaped by academic knowledge or clinical roles—it has been deeply influenced by my own lived experience as someone who has walked through many of the same struggles my clients face.
Throughout my diverse career, I’ve worked across multiple stages of care—from acute crisis response to long-term recovery planning. These roles have given me a broad and compassionate understanding of the systems people move through and the real-world barriers they encounter. But perhaps most importantly, I have also sat on the other side—as a client. This dual perspective allows me to offer more than just empathy; it enables me to relate on a human level, grounded in genuine understanding and respect.
This blend of lived experience, professional training, and practical insight forms the heart of my counselling philosophy. I strive to create a space that is safe, non-judgmental, and grounded in trust—where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.
My goal is to support you in finding your own unique path to healing and recovery, and to walk alongside you with warmth, authenticity, and compassion.
-Experience-
